Volvo Enthusiasts from Across the Country to Gather in Trumansburg for 2026 National Meet — Public Invited to Free Saturday Car Show

TRUMANSBURG, N.Y. — The Central New York Chapter of the Volvo Club of America (VCoA) will host the 2026 VCoA National Meet at the Trumansburg Fairgrounds in Trumansburg, NY, from Friday, July 24 through Sunday, July 26, 2026. Volvo owners and enthusiasts from around the country will converge on the Finger Lakes for a weekend of car displays, technical presentations, and community events celebrating the Swedish automaker's rich history.

Free Public Car Show Saturday, July 26

The highlight of the weekend for local residents will be the Saturday car show, open free of charge to the public from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Spectators are welcome to browse a wide-ranging display of Volvos spanning from the 1950s to present-day models, meet owners from across the country, and enjoy a full slate of food trucks on site, including DOCTU (Cuban), Grasshopper Thai, and JJ's Dogs and More, along with ice cream from Trimmer's Ice Cream.

Important: Use the Rabbit Run Entrance

Attendees and spectators are asked to note that the back entrance to the Trumansburg Fairgrounds off Rabbit Run Road must be used for the event. Signs will be posted to help direct visitors.

About the Weekend

The full national meet runs Friday through Sunday and includes a meet-and-greet dinner, guest presentations, a Dutch auction, tech sessions, and a poker run cruise, in addition to Saturday's public car show. Meals throughout the weekend showcase local food businesses, including Toss and Fire Pizza, Dinosaur BBQ (served from their on-site mobile pit), and Collegetown Bagels. People's choice voting on Saturday is reserved for registered entrants, and the evening presentation on Volvo Club of America history and awards/raffle program are part of the private national meet program and are not open to the public.

Registration for full weekend participation is required for club members wishing to show a vehicle or attend non-car show meals and programming, but spectating at Saturday's car show is free and open to everyone.
